The renovation, completed in 2017 has transformed the historic building into a 5-star hotel with 167 rooms including Classic, Superior, Junior Suite, Suite and Royal Suite. The Spa at the Grand Hotel Salsomaggiore boasts 18 rooms dedicated to treatments for body care. This includes a wet area with sauna, Turkish bath, ice waterfall, salt room and a tub with fresh water and hydromassage, a salt pool with counter-current swimming and a thermal pool, under a spectacular panoramic roof, with the precious salsobromoiodic water with its highly anti-inflammatory and purifying properties.

The purifying cleansing gel is perfect for impure, oily and acne-prone skin, especially during the summer or in hot, humid climates, the exfoliating action cleanses the skin and clears the pores from makeup and excess sebum.
The Palazzo delle Terme Berzieri is a jewel in Liberty and Déco style, the symbol of Salsomaggiore Terme and of European thermalism.
