Rich in squalene, unsaturated fatty acids (they are hydrating and protect against excessive evaporation) and natural alpha-tocopherols (antioxidant), Amaranth oil contributes in providing an optimal skin barrier. In the Tranquillity™ system, the oil which has been used is extracted in a solvent of supercritical Carbon Dioxide (CO2) from the spindle-shaped seeds of the Amaranth, and is therefore of a very high quality and purity.
